Okanogan PUD is updating its policy relating to disconnection and reconnection of electric services.  These changes are being made to enhance efficiencies with the District’s collection process and improve the safety of District employees.

Effective December 1, 2015 the District will no longer reconnect service after business hours when a customer’s service has been disconnected for non-payment.  Reconnection of services will only be made Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., except in cases where the District may have erred.  Once proper payment is made, service will be turned on as soon as practical.  Normal disconnection and reconnection fees apply and are as follows:

1st Notice of Delinquent Account                                           $10.00
Final Notice Prior to Disconnection of Service                   $10.00
Disconnect for Non-Payment                                                 $50.00
Reconnect Account after Payment has been Received      $50.00
NSF Check Fee                                                                          $15.00
