There will be a 6 hour power outage on October 6, 2016. It will begin at 12:05 a.m. Thursday morning and last until approximately 6:00 a.m. Thursday morning. The outage will affect all Okanogan County Electric Co-Op as well as Okanogan County PUD customers in the following areas:

** The Methow Valley from Carlton to Mazama
     ** Loup Loup Ski Hill
     ** Pleasant Valley
** Town of Malott, south of Malott to the Ophir Grade including the Chiliwist
** Depending on loading conditions, an attempt to switch these customers to alternate substations will be made; however customers should prepare for an outage.

The PUD will be performing maintenance and making repairs to equipment on the Twisp 115kV Transmission line and the Twisp Substation. For all residents using medical equipment requiring electrical power, you will need to make provisions for a 6 hour power outage.

The PUD appreciates your patience and regrets any inconvenience this outage may cause.
