Okanogan County Fair 2012
Employee Volunteers - the Key to Success!

Once again, the Okanogan PUD's presence at the county fair provided an exciting display for the public and fun for hundreds of children.  Again this year we provided t-shirts and prizes to over 100 children who took part in our Youth Pole Climb.  Additionally we handed out hundreds of hard hats to children, some of whose parents indicated that every year the hard hats are a must have for their children.  New this year was the Broadband department’s table highlighting new access point equipment and details regarding the new high speed internet coverage that will be provided to our county through the ARRA Grant.

Such a successful program could not be accomplished without the diligent planning of our Energy Services dream team, Debbie Peters and Steve Brown and the time and support of dedicated employees from linemen to office staff.  A special thank you to all those involved in making this  event a success!
