The Public Utility District No. 1 of Okanogan County will be performing Non-Service Effecting Maintenance to add another backbone device at our Tonasket Hut the morning of Friday, October 9, 2015 from 1:00 AM until 5:00 AM. During this time period all OKPUD supported fiber and wireless customers should not be affected while the new device is added. The addition of this new backbone device will require us to open our protected ring between Tonasket and Omak in order to accommodate the insertion of a new switch.  Opening the ring at Tonasket Hut may cause a momentary interruption in service as traffic is dynamically redirected. Even though the proposed maintenance should take approximately one (1) hour to complete, a longer maintenance window is being called to ensure adequate time is allotted to deal with any unforeseen issues that may arise during the course of this install.  If you have questions or comments regarding this maintenance window, please contact us at (509) 422-8377.
