Effective July 1, 2014, the Okanogan PUD will discontinue hanging door tags (disconnect notices) for customers who do not pay, or respond, upon receiving a payment reminder "Final Notice 1" in the mail.  Instead of hanging door tags, these disconnect notices "Final Notice 2" will be MAILED to the customer's address approximately five days before service will be disconnected.  The "Final Notice 2" will advise the customer of the disconnect date and will be the last notification the customer will receive prior to disconnection of service.  Additionally, as part of this policy change, the PUD will no longer attempt to make phone contact with customers prior to sending the Final Notice 2.
