Please be advised that there is currently a fraudulent internet online payment scam targeting Okanogan PUD customers. The false link, found through a general web search for ‘Okanogan County PUD’, takes customers to an official looking website asking for payment information. The web address for the fraudulent link is htts://ww.doxo.com/info/okanogan-county-pud-no-1. Any payments made through this site are not payment to the PUD. The only website address from which you should make an online payment to the PUD is through our official website at https://www.okanoganpud.org.

To verify the status of your account and confirm any recent online payments, you may call the Okanogan PUD at 509-422-3310 or 1-800-992-7011. If you have been a victim of this scam, please call the Okanogan County Sheriff’s Office at 509-422-7230 to report the theft.

Please remember to always report suspicious websites, calls or emails to the lead agencies investigating nationwide scams: The Washington State Attorney General’s Office at 1-800-551-4636 or the Federal Trade Commission at 1-877-382-4357.
