Fires in the area have taken out two BPA transmission lines serving the Okanogan County PUD.  A third BPA transmission line serving Okanogan is currently being threatened.  If this line goes out of service, the PUD will experience an outage that could potentially impact all of its service area.  The PUD is working with other emergency service agencies to avoid or minimize the impact to PUD customers.
