Yesterday, the PUD sent out a press release regarding fire in the Grand Coulee area damaging and threatening several BPA transmission lines.  The PUD is still receiving power from two other transmission lines; one from Chief Joe Dam and one from Wells Dam.

Due to fire containment efforts, the third transmission line is no longer in imminent danger.  At this point, we believe the threat to be minimal.  If conditions change, updated information will be provided.
