SCAM ALERT: We have just been informed that someone has been calling with a 509 area code pretending to be the Okanogan PUD and demanding payment, threatening power shutoff. If you ever get a call like that, hang up and call our office. We do not demand immediate payment over the phone. It is ALWAYS ok to hang up and call one of our offices back to make sure a phone call is legitimately from us.

Thank you to the customer who called and informed us that this happened to them.
