To further protect our staff and customers and comply with the “Stay Home, Stay Healthy” order for the state, Okanogan County PUD staff will change some of their work activities for the next two weeks, effective March 26.

As a provider of electricity and broadband services, the PUD is considered an essential business, but must still comply with social distancing and other directives.

Although offices remain closed to the public, the district will still have customer service representatives available to help customers during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., via telephone and email.

Line crew teams will continue to make emergency repairs and respond to outages, but will not be doing any new projects for now. Customers needing service work should contact the office to see if their project can be completed during this time.

The PUD appreciates the public’s patience, as many staff members will be working from home or working different shifts than usual. Updates will continue to be posted here on the district’s website and on the district’s Facebook page.
